Kay's Foundation. Kay's Kamp. Childhood Cancer. Pediatric Oncology. Helping kids with cancer

Kay’s Kamp is held one week every summer at the St. Andrew’s School in Middletown, Delaware. For this one incredible week, Kay's Kamp is staffed entirely by an amazing group of volunteers

All of the counselors, activity staff and the medical team of doctors and nurses donate their time to come to Kamp and make this one week as special and exciting as possible for our Kampers.

Counselors and most activity staff are required to stay on campus for the entire week, however, medical staff can rotate shifts throughout the week depending on their work schedules.

“Being a volunteer at Kay's Kamp lets me be a part of something bigger than myself. These kids constantly teach me how to be a better person and if I can just make one camper laugh, it is all worth it!"

– Mia R.

"At Kay's Kamp I do whatever I can to make these kids have the best week of their year. It’s about going out of your way ensure that the kids, who are warriors all year 'round, forget about having to be strong and can just be kids! It's about being a part of something special that inspires hope in everyone."

– Shak P.

“As one who has never had a child with cancer, Kamp gives me a life changing opportunity to make a difference in these kids' lives. I've learned so much about what is truly important in life from them and  it has helped me become a better person and father. To see the same kids return year after year because we make it a 'home away from home' for them - we do all we can to make it such a special place for them – and seeing their smiles is all the thanks I'll ever need. Until there's a cure, there's Kamp!”

– Walt C.
